Coach Kim Williams – Girls Program Consultant

Coach Kim Williams was initially Roenia Kimble. Her name changed when she was adopted at six years after five years in foster care. She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Her highest hope is that she will glorify God with her life and that everything she puts her hands to will prosper (Deuteronomy 30:9). She attended Henrico County Public Schools from Pre-K through 12th grade. Throughout this time, she enjoyed reading, learning, art, theater, and field trips. Herfree time was spent volunteering at church, attending summer programs, and being enrolled in therapeutic outreach groups for at-risk youth. The impact of these opportunities IS still present in her life to this day. Growing up into adulthood was not easy for Kim Williams, but she pressed on anyway. The greatest thing she learned was to be who she was supposed to be and not be swayed by others’ expectations because no one can please everyone without losing themselves. In 2013, she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During and after undergraduate school, her work-life consisted mostly of assisting elementary school classrooms and counseling in psychiatric facilities. In 2018, she earned her Masters of Arts from Liberty University Online in Human Services Counseling: Public Policy and Family Advocacy.

With everything that she has accomplished, they do not scratch the surface of her greatest desire 24 throughout her life, meeting her biological family. This quest started to
manifest in 2009 with her adopted parent’s assistance and has been quite fulfilling. What a dream COMES true! Another thing that brings Kim Williams joy is being able to serve
others, which she currently does as a caregiver in Maryland and writing scripts for shows that teach children about living for God. She also blogs to inspire others and own As Seen In Christ, a brand being developed to motivate believers to find their identity in Christ and increase the standard for excellence in any industry. In closing, she would like to leave you all with a few quotes that have enhanced her life.

“Live your life for a purpose, not popularity” -Kim Williams. “Be the change you want to see in the world”-Unknown. Lastly, her favorite, “Let no one despise your youth,
but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” -1 Timothy 4:12 NKJV.
